The webinar organized together with our strategic partners of the International Power-to-X Hub in Argentina, addressed the main results of their “Study of port infrastructure in the Patagonian coast of Argentina”. “Study of Port Infrastructure of the Patagonian coast of Argentina”, developed with our partners from CEARE (Center for Energy Regulatory Activity Studies).prepared with our partners from CEARE (Centro de Estudios de la Actividad Regulatoria Energética). Alberto del Vecchio, Consulting Professor of the Department of Transportation of the School of Engineering of the University of Buenos Aires (UBA), presented the information necessary to identify ports and strategic locations for the development of PtX projects. He also presented the capacity and technical feasibility of port infrastructure for green hydrogen and derivatives export projects.

During the session, Martin Virdis – Development and Innovation Coordinator of the BAHÍA BLANCA PORT MANAGEMENT CONSORTIUM – presented the Port of Bahía Blanca, its main characteristics, projects under implementation and potential as a Hub for the production and export of green hydrogen and its derivatives.

Raúl Bertero, President of the Centro de Estudios de la Actividad Regulatoria Energética (CEARE), gave the welcoming remarks and the event was moderated by Verónica Chorkulak , technical advisor of GIZ in Argentina.
