With the support of the Inter-American Development Bank, the World Bank and ESMAP, the 5th Hydrogen Congress for Latin America and the Caribbean is the premier annual meeting for the emerging low-emission hydrogen market in the region. We are pleased to invite you to the 2025 edition, which will be held on July 15-16 in São Paulo, coinciding with Brazil’s preparations to host COP 30, further reinforcing the event’s role in developing the future of hydrogen in the region.

This year, the congress agenda will feature the participation of leading experts from the world’s leading hydrogen organizations, reaffirming the strong support for the development of the market in the region. Among the confirmed speakers are: Susana Moreira (H2Global), Gabriela Elizondo (World Bank), Daria Nochevnick (Hydrogen Council), Petra Schwager (UNIDO), Marc Schieting (KfW) and Maria Assumpció Rojo Torrent (Hydrogen Europe).

In August 2024, President Lula Da Silva signed a comprehensive regulatory framework to accelerate the hydrogen industry in Brazil, introducing financial incentives, technological support and a certification system. The Congress, in its 5th version this 2025, will analyze its implications for project developers and international investors.
