Results of the study on quantification of Chilean port infrastructure capacity for hydrogen projects
The webinar “Results of the Chilean port infrastructure capacity quantification study for hydrogen projects” was organized by the Team Europe project Renewable Hydrogen Development in Chile (RH2) together with H2LAC and was attended by more than 180 participants.
The study was developed by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit, GmbH (GIZ) and the consulting firm Subiabre & Sanchez Ingenieros Asociados Limitada. The results and analysis were addressed by Pablo Tello, Senior Technical Advisor of the RH2 Project of the GIZ Southern Cone Energy Cluster and Rubén Guzmán, Head of the Energy Economics and Sustainability Unit of the Chilean Ministry of Energy.
The event included welcoming remarks by Benoit Larielle, Cooperation Attaché of the Delegation of the European Union in Chile, who highlighted the cooperation work of the EU with Chile in the sector, as well as a presentation by Patricio Bastías, Technical Advisor of the RH2 Project of the Energy Cluster of GIZ Cono Sur.
The moderation of both the event and the Q&A section was carried out by Constanza Meneses, H2LAC Coordinator.
The study was prepared under development area “D” of the RH2 project, which includes shared infrastructure assessments and contributes to meeting the objectives of Chile’s Green Hydrogen Action Plan 2023-2030.
