Course on hydrogen and derivatives: fundamentals and applications in the energy transition.

Deepen your knowledge of hydrogen aspects and Power-to-X technologies.

We are pleased to announce a new training course on hydrogen and its derivatives, given by economist Noelia Medina Alfaro from the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Mining and Dr. Ing. Verónica Díaz from the Uruguayan Association of Women in Energy. Both are certified by the Power-to-X Hub of Germany and have extensive experience in the energy sector.

The training will be conducted virtually and will last 10 hours, distributed over three days: December 9, 10 and 11. It is intended for a national and international audience and its main objective is to provide a solid understanding of the fundamentals of Power-to-X, its applications and its impact on the transition to a sustainable energy future.

Throughout the sessions, participants will receive technical training, practical tools to implement green hydrogen technologies and other energy carriers, as well as the analysis of real cases in different sectors. The course will address the context and relevance of hydrogen as a decarbonization alternative; the integral study of hydrogen value chains and its derivatives; national strategies of the participating countries; and global developments in the area. It will also provide useful tools for project analysis and evaluation.

At the end of the course, participants will be part of an exchange community, with access to relevant industry news, opportunities and updates.
