Port infrastructure for the development of green hydrogen and PtX projects.
H2LAC is pleased to invite you to our next webinar organized together with our strategic partners from the International Power-to-X Hub. The new virtual event is aimed at presenting the main results of the Port Infrastructure Study of the Patagonian coast of Argentina and provide background information to identify which ports and locations are the most suitable for the development of PtX projects.
It should be noted that the Argentine Patagonia is a strategic region for the green hydrogen sector, as it has low-cost wind energy, large extensions of land, availability of water for electrolysis and access to the sea for the export of hydrogen-derived products.
In this context, the study prepared by CEARE (Centro de Estudios de la Actividad Regulatoria Energética) and the International PtX Hub, evaluates the technical capabilities of the existing port infrastructure, and analyzes the technical feasibility of adapting it for green hydrogen and derivatives export projects.
During the session there will be a presentation of the Port of Bahia Blanca, focusing on its main characteristics, projects being implemented and its potential as a Hub for production and export of green hydrogen and derivatives.
