The company&#8217;s president, Ricardo Roa, made the announcement, noting that this plant will be the largest of its kind in the Latin American region. <\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{\"335551550\":6,\"335551620\":6}\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The initiative is projected to have an installed capacity of 5 MW and will be designed to produce 800 tons of green hydrogen per year. It is expected to start operations in the first half of 2026, integrating with the refinery&#8217;s fuel hydrotreatment process.   <\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{\"335551550\":6,\"335551620\":6}\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">This announcement is in line with the country&#8217;s efforts to move towards an economy with greater independence from fossil fuels.
