In this line, addressing the issue of regulation is key to defining competencies, creating incentives and establishing rules, as well as facilitating access to innovative financing and incentive policies that accelerate hydrogen production and use.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, during the event, Antonio Fernandez, advisor to the International Power-to-X Hub in Brussels, presented the regulatory developments in the European Union. Jacob Englander, from the Hydrogen Fuel Cell Technologies Office of the U.S. Department of Energy, presented the regulatory initiatives developed in his country.<\/p>\n<p>Welcoming remarks were given by Geert Anckaert, sector manager of the European Commission&#8217;s Directorate General for International Partnerships, and Stephan Remler, leader of the International Power-to-X Hub in Argentina.
