One of the major contributors to GHGs is the combustion of coal &#8211; the most polluting of the fossil fuels. In the near future, much of the energy demand will be supplied by coal, the most polluting fuel.  <\/span> <span class=\"JsGRdQ\">through electrification with renewable energies, which are already competitive and less expensive than fossil fuels.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"_04xlpA direction-ltr align-start para-style-body\"><span class=\"JsGRdQ\">The <\/span><span class=\"JsGRdQ\">green hydrogen<\/span><span class=\"JsGRdQ\">is produced through the electrolysis of water, with the electricity coming from a renewable source. This energy vector in the form of gas does not generate GHGs and offers a sustainable solution to meet energy demands that cannot be met through electrification, contributing to the decarbonization goals established in the Paris Agreement. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section><section class=\"l-section wpb_row us_custom_2774bef1 height_medium\"><div class=\"l-section-h i-cf\"><div class=\"g-cols vc_row via_grid cols_2 laptops-cols_inherit tablets-cols_inherit mobiles-cols_1 valign_middle type_boxes reversed stacking_default\" style=\"--columns-gap:2rem;\"><div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container us_custom_6b8f7cc4\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><h2>Why in Latin America and the Caribbean<\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><p>The abundant natural resources of Latin America and the Caribbean are part of the great potential for the development and economic diversification of a sustainable industry.
