H2LAC is pleased to invite you to our next webinar organized together with the TeamEurope project Renewable Hydrogen Development in Chile (RH2). The objective of the virtual event is to socialize the results of the Chilean port infrastructure capacity quantification study for hydrogen projects, developed by Deutsche Gesellschaft f\u00fcr Internationale Zusammenarbeit, GmbH GIZ and the consulting firm Subiabre & Sanchez Ingenieros Asociados Limitada. <\/p>\n

These will be presented by Pablo Tello, Senior Technical Advisor of the TeamEurope Project Renewable Hydrogen Development in Chile (RH2) and Ruben Guzman, Head of the Energy Economics and Sustainability Unit of the Chilean Ministry of Energy will address the public policy impacts of the study. Welcoming remarks will be given by Benoit Larielle, Cooperation Attach\u00e9 of the Delegation of the European Union in Chile and George Cristodorescu, Energy Cluster Coordinator and RH2 project manager. <\/p>\n

The study was prepared under development area “D” of the RH2 project, which includes shared infrastructure assessments and contributes to meeting the objectives of Chile’s Green Hydrogen Action Plan 2023-2030.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

RH2 Project<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Team Europe project Renewable Hydrogen Development in Chile is a project co-financed by the European Union and the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Action, and implemented by GIZ and AECID. The objective of the project is to strengthen and stimulate the renewable and sustainable hydrogen economy, contributing to achieve the 2050 climate neutrality goals of both the EU and Chile. To this end, the project works in 5 areas of action: strengthening the ecosystem and regulatory framework, capacity building and knowledge transfer, support for technology development, shared infrastructure assessments and environmental assessment, and business cooperation and financial advisory. <\/span><\/p>\n

H2LAC is a collaborative platform dedicated to fostering the development of green hydrogen and its derivatives in Latin America and the Caribbean.
